How Am I Supposed to Learn?

"Well, I tried tuning this guitar."
"(laughter) It's way out of tune!"
"Huh."
How'm I supposed to learn?! It is almost infuriating when you've done something, the best you can, and someone walks up and mocks you. I don't think they mean to, but it's embarrassing and frustrating. Especially when you hear them cracking jokes about you tuning that guitar, that is the simple reason why I don't talk much. I don't like being the center of attention when people are talking about me, maybe how tall I'm getting, etc. I just don't know what to say to that, I like teaching and being the one talking. I've kind of learned to keep my mouth shut because what comes out 40% of the time turns on me and embarrasses me. Well, how'm I supposed to learn?
Everyone knows that God didn't make us perfect! We learn by making lots, and lots, and lots of mistakes, we tried our hardest, but we can't learn what success is if we don't know what failure is. Is Failure bad? I don't like being embarrassed, but sometimes you have to because you failed or messed up, but there is always a lesson for you. I'd rather be embarrassed and learn a valuable lesson than stop trying altogether. I don't care what people say or think about me, it's my life, and if that short moment of embarrassment means that it will shape my life the way I want, I'll take it.
How am I supposed to learn? Lets add this little phrase to the end:
"How am I supposed to learn...if I can't fail."
Failure is learning. Success is the reward. If we don't fail and learn then we'll never have success.
