Love, Language, Leadership

I've been thinking about Love, Language, Leadership alot lately. Before I did Parelli I loved my horse more than anything, and I knew I needed leadership (I was harsh and strict in some areas, I was never consistant), but I had no idea how to talk to him! In fact, I didn't even now I could. Now I can read my horse, and have whole conversations with him, much to many peoples disbelief. I know I am constantly proving and balancing Love, Language, and Leadership to and with my horse.

It’s not about disposable horses...

It’s about relationships for life.

It’s not about quick fixes and artificial aids...

It’s about savvy—true understanding and expertise.

It’s not about winning and others losing...

It’s about win-win: you and the horse need to feel good about it.

It’s not about me me me...

It’s about changing the world for horses, becoming a person of

knowledge and influence, and sharing what you know.

It’s not about fear and doubt...

It’s about unconditional love and trust.

Love for the empowerment of others; and trust, that you’ll

never ask the horse to do something that would hurt or diminish

his dignity.
^Haha, that's Prides fly mask that makes him look like a mule! That fly mask works so well and is so nice, though.
