The Devils Candy

So, do you love candy? I LOVE candy. That is why I enjoy halloween so much! I get to pass out candy and while I'm waiting for more trick'r'treaters I can sit on the couch and eat candy. It's wonderful...
It can be deadly though, like everything else, it has a consequence. If you eat to much you get sick or throw up. Just like with horsemanship, you ask for too much from your horse your horse will either say no or physically tell you what he thinks of you.
There are so many good things in this world, yet so many people take advantage of them and abuse them, they just don't seem good anymore. Like horses and horsemanship, so many people got into the horse bus. excited that the first time they were going to ride their horse they were going to lope off into the sunset in total harmony...well, thanks to all the "horse trainers" out there many people have given up this true candy - this candy never makes you sick and that is precisely why I love it so much!
I don't know why I'm relating so called "horse trainers" to candy. "Tis the season" I guess.
Lesson and point: Don't take advantage of your horsemanship, take advantage of your knowledge.
Feel free to take a look at Keri's Blog http://savvyisthegoal.blogspot.com/2010/10/lesson-day-review.html where she talks about her lesson with a 3* Parelli Prof.
Yes, I call candy "The Devils Candy" because its so temping and irresistable........
