I have finally come to the realization that.... I'm boring. Pride is getting more obedient, but is starting to get an attitude like "Sure. Whatever." My goal by the end of this month is to have him saying, "Yay!" When I ask him to do something. Pride and I are getting further into our levels and many people would be happy just staying where we're at. But I am not, I want to be as great as Pat Parelli, I want true unity with Pride.
The problem with staying where you are at is that you never do. You are either progressing or degressing. Getting better or worse. I definently do not want to stay where I am at, I am pleased that we've made it this far, but I am not satisfied :).
Basketball is over! I have from 2 pm to 9 pm for playing with horses! I have found something out when playing with Pride... my drive (Yo-Yo Game) and my draw are not equal. My drive is a 6 while my draw is a 8 (from a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the best), I'm going to incorporate obstacles to get him wanting to do what I ask. I also need work on some spins on the ground, using my porcupine game without having him move his inside hind quarter foot.
I am really debating on getting a Cradle Bridle or a Camera for christmas, I don't think my dad will let me get the Cradle Bridle (he doesn't believe in Parelli equipment, he thinks any bridle will work for Finesse) so I will most likely have to buy it with my money sometime later in the year. A Camera would be great! I love taking photo's and videos! With my own camera I could take alot more pictures and videos regarding horses, instead of borrowing my mom's $200 dollar camera that she is supper sensative about. :)
Ella is really pregnant! She has maybe at the most 2 days left, it will be exciting when she has her puppies. I'll post alot of pictures! ;)
Sorry about the absents of pictures! I'll will try to take some tomorrow!
Keep it Natural,
Kaylee
