All around us people say, "don't wallow in your past, it doesn't matter, only your future matters." Wrong, your past does matter. Lesson's are learned and remembered (sometimes), our past influences our future. Everything we learn, do, how we percieve situations, what we make ourselves out to be. Is what we become.
Scary.... a little :).
We don't want to wallow in our past, just remember things that are important and special, but this post is not about our pasts. It's about reflecting.
Take a couple minutes and just reflect... think about all the happy, fun and laughter filled moments you've had..... now think about the lessons you've learned..... think about the journey you've taken so far with your horses....
Just typing this is mixing up emotions in me, it would be great to have all that back, but it also would be boring. We have already expirienced it, and taken everything God wanted us to from that experience. I'm just so greatful I got to have them. To be with the family, animals, and friends that I love so much.
Relfecting is important. God gave us the ability to remember, we just need to make time to do just that. Remember that life is uncertain and the best way to live, like the horse, is to live it moment to moment.
Keep it natural,
Kaylee
