Scary!

Yikes! I just found out that they might cancel the Arco Horse Show because of a Super Bug that made its way to Idaho this summer. There are two cases of the disease in Idaho Falls, only 2 hours away from here. They can't vaccinate against it and they don't really know how to treat it, it just runs its course and can even be fatal! It can be spread by the air, touching the infected horse then touching yours, letting your horse touch ANYTHING the infected horse has touched, it spreads pretty much every possible way. Even if they don't cancel the horse show, if theirs any chance that Pride could catch it, I would rather sacrifice not going. I would rather still have my horse than some ribbons. I don't know much about it, but my 4-H leader is keeping me posted and is going to send me some information on it. We might even have to cancel our 4-H meetings at the rodeo grounds for a while, tell this whole thing blows over. :( It's kind of scary!
