Too funny!!!^
I have been so busy lately! Basketball has started, I'm training Bell, Strider, and Pride. Its fun, but man I'm tired.
We had the Awards Banquet for the Open Horse Shows this year. Pride and I got third, and a big belt buckle. He also got High Point horse for my age group (12-17 year olds), we got a very nice trailer rack that has a gold label on it :). And he got High Point horse for the Salmon Horse Show, he got another trailer rack, but it has his name stitched into it. Looking back, I can't believe just how far we've come. Pride is by no means physically perfect, he's can be really heavy on the forehand if I don't watch him, his back hooves turn out and his nose is a little too large for his face, but I think he's perfect. I honestly believe he's the horse that could go the extra mile and become truly amazing. He never gets irritated with me (like swishing his tail) and he's always willing to work harder than I want him to. You know the saying "the horse is just a mirror to your soul" is so true. Pride and I are so much alike, I expect so much from him, and he never disapoints me.
In my room I have in big bold letters on my wall,
"WISH IT. DREAM IT. DO IT."
What more can I say?
Kaylee
