I was just reading on Emelies blog http://emelieandnalle.blogspot.com/2011/04/feels-like-summer_26.html, she says that she has already given Nalle 2 baths. That's amazing! I've been dreaming for months about giving Pride a bath, winter is already wet and muddy, and Pride loves mud. I can't stand brushing caked mud off him, it gets all over in my hair, up my sleeves, not to mention his coat doesn't look much better after I brush the shell of mud off him. His hair looks dry and very dusty. I stand there and dream about washing all that filth off. In the summer, I usually give Pride about 2 baths a week (and we always play in the water when its hot, like running through the pivots), its a joyous time for us. He loves the water, I do also, I love to get him all shiny clean, and he loves to get dirty again as soon as I turn him loose. It's one of our favorite things to do! I always end up soaking wet, its a fun time. I usually give him bath's after a hard ride, when he's sweaty and hot. My dad calls him "The Water Horse", Pride loves water, he always plays in their water trough. Sticking his head past his eyes in it and splashing like crazy.
I'm still waiting eagerly for you summer....
