I've started to plan out my boarding and finishing stable! I'm excited, behind the house will be my boarding corrals and pasture and bathing stalls, in front will be my arena (I still haven't decided how big I'd like it), Round Corral, and pasture. It should be beautiful once we get it figured out, It won't take much to get it where I'd like. Alot of the boarding ranches here don't have that great of corrals and facilities, they don't keep good care of it. If I can get this up and running, it will be a great money maker for me and I can start planning for my future out of high school. Dad is in the process of bailing right now, so I won't be able to have his help untill that's over, but I need to get these posts in the ground before it freezes again... :) I'll plan it out and dad can help me whenever he gets time.
Next year, after we get our facility up and running, I'm planning on doing a demonstration maybe at the Challis or Arco Horse Show to get buisness and my name out there. What I won't to do, untill people get more faith in me is start a Finishing School for horses that are broke but just aren't where their owners would like, either at a competetive level or just a safety and fun level, I can get them there. I want to be the Horse Whisperer around here, the go to girl that can help any horse get past its problems. I can't do anything untill I get a set-up going, so that's my goal this year. :)
