I bought a pair of Chaps for showing, they were really cheap and they should fit me pretty good! I went over to Chamberlains yesterday and talked to Belinda and got some help, I owe her alot!!! I got Pride to slide 3 feet today in his stop, just from a slow lope. It was amazing. I had issues with Pride not staying at one speed, for example, when I asked him to trot he would start slow and smooth but then as we went around the arena would speed up, and he would always speed up when a horse would pass him in the ring. So with Belinda's help I got him to where he would stay one speed, I'm going to get together with her again on Friday this time at the rodeo grouds. I'm wiped out right now, so is Pride. I rode him from 11 am to 2:30 pm today, and we rode hard. He was dripping sweat by the time we were done, but we made tons of progress. I'm proud of him! I can't believe how far we've come in just 2 rides!

I've been very positive, and everynight before I fall alseep I visualize Pride and I at state performing our very best ride. I visiualize like I'm there, I feel everything that I would feel as if I where their winning. :) Everyday I'm getting closer to that perfect ride!
I was thinking as I was riding him today, how incredibly boring it would be to have a perfect horse. Their would be nothing to improve or work on... anyway I think it would be boring! :)
